This Vivitar 50mm f1.9 is a standard focal length prime lens with a fast f1.9 max aperture. It has the M42 threadmount and will work with any 35mm SLR camera that uses M42 lenses, such as the Pentax Spotmatic cameras.  It is a solid starter lens.
